Our Student Support Teacher serves as a resource for both teachers and families.
Support may include:

- Practical classroom recommendations
By working together, we can provide consistency between home and school while helping children experience success in the classroom.
Supporting Success in the Classroom
Our Student Support Teacher works alongside classroom teachers by providing practical strategies that strengthen learning and participation.
Support may include:
- Visual supports
- Routine guidance
- Transition strategies
- Positive behavior guidance
- Social-emotional coaching
- Classroom participation strategies
These tools help children build independence, confidence, and meaningful relationships with their classmates.
Honest & Collaborative Communication
We believe early communication helps children thrive.
While St. Paul's Lutheran Preschool is not a special education program and does not provide one-on-one aides, therapeutic services, or formal special education support, we are committed to partnering with families.
When concerns arise, we work together to better understand a child's needs, implement reasonable classroom strategies when appropriate, and help families determine whether outside resources or evaluations may be beneficial.
