At St. Paul's Lutheran Preschool, learning extends far beyond the classroom walls. Our Outdoor Classroom is a signature part of our preschool experience, giving children daily opportunities to explore, create, discover, and grow through hands-on, play-based learning in God's creation.
Every day, children spend meaningful time outdoors building confidence, strengthening their bodies, developing friendships, and discovering the world around them—all while learning in ways that feel joyful and natural.

We believe some of life's best learning happens outside.
Outdoor learning is intentionally woven into our daily schedule because young children learn best through movement, exploration, and play. Every preschool class enjoys a dedicated one-hour Outdoor Classroom block each morning, followed by additional outdoor learning opportunities in the afternoon.
Even our youngest learners participate. Infants and toddlers have private outdoor decks designed specifically for safe exploration, sensory experiences, and fresh air.
