St. Paul’s Lutheran Preschool is accredited through both the Western Association of
Schools and Colleges (WASC) and National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA).
A Mark of Quality and Accountability
Accreditation is an important mark of quality and accountability. It means our preschool has participated in a thorough self-study process, welcomed outside review and committed to ongoing growth and improvement. Through this process, we reflect on who we are, what we do well and how we can continue strengthening our program for children and families.
Going Beyond the Requirements
While all licensed preschools are required to meet state licensing standards, accreditation goes beyond basic licensing requirements. Most preschools do not choose to go through the additional time, reflection, documentation and outside review required for accreditation.
St. Paul’s has chosen to pursue and maintain both WASC and NLSA accreditation because we believe children and families deserve a preschool that is not only safe and caring, but also thoughtful, accountable and committed to ongoing growth.
